When a home is still under construction or the false ceiling is being redone, an in ceiling projector screen gives the result interior designers ask for: nothing visible until the film starts. The aluminium casing sits above the ceiling line and the tab-tensioned screen drops through a narrow slot to the preset height. Afterwards, it retracts and the ceiling is plain again. Because the fabric is tab tensioned, the surface stays flat for 4K, and the Cinema Gray surface keeps blacks deep when a lamp is on.
Plan it before the ceiling closes
Send us the room drawing and the projector model, and we return the exact recess dimensions, the power point and the cable route for your contractor. Our team fits the casing before the ceiling is finished and aligns the screen once the projector is in. For a ceiling that is already closed, choose the surface-mounted tab tensioned screen or the floor rising ALR screen instead.
Cinema Gray fabric
A grey surface reflects less stray light than white, so black levels hold and colours look richer in a living room with the lights dimmed rather than off. Modern laser projectors have the brightness to drive it, which is why Cinema Gray is the standard choice for a recessed living-room screen.

Can it be fitted in an existing false ceiling?
Yes, if the ceiling can be opened along the screen width and there is enough depth. Otherwise, choose a surface-mounted or floor-rising screen.
Is the screen flat enough for 4K?
Yes. Tab tensioning pulls the fabric flat from both edges on every drop.
Which projector suits it?
A ceiling- or shelf-mounted long-throw or short-throw projector. For an ultra-short-throw laser TV, choose the floor rising ALR screen.
Does it work with home automation?
Yes. We can add trigger control for Control4, Crestron, Savant and Tono automation at installation.
