Which motorized lift do you need?
The three most common scenarios — and how to think about each before you order.
For Living Rooms (TV)
If you want the TV to disappear when not in use, you have two choices. Pop-up lift — TV rises out of a console or bench (cleaner look, more expensive cabinetry). Drop-down lift — TV descends from a ceiling pocket (works in rooms without a console; requires false-ceiling space of at least 40 cm). Pop-up is the more common Indian residential install.
For Boardrooms (Projector)
Boardrooms benefit from clean ceilings during regular meetings, with projection on-demand. A projector ceiling lift drops the projector from a flush ceiling pocket when needed. Pair it with a motorized projection screen for full automation — both can be triggered from the same control panel.
For Conference / Studio (Camera)
For boardrooms with video conferencing or broadcast studios, a motorized camera lift (like our CLC-40) keeps the PTZ camera hidden in the ceiling until the meeting starts. Camera descends to predetermined height, frames the room, and retracts when done. Ideal for spaces that double as event rooms.

How much does a motorized TV lift cost in India?
Motorized TV lifts in India start at around ₹60,000 for a 43–55 inch pop-up lift, going up to ₹1,20,000+ for a ceiling drop-down lift for 65–75 inch TVs. Pricing depends on TV size and weight, travel range, mechanism type (pop-up vs drop-down), and installation complexity. Custom-built cabinetry adds to the cost separately.
How much ceiling depth do I need for a drop-down lift?
For a TV drop-down lift, you typically need at least 30–40 cm of false-ceiling depth above the lift opening. For projector lifts, 25–35 cm is usually sufficient. For camera lifts like the CLC-40, plan for at least 45 cm depth. We confirm the exact requirement during the site survey before manufacturing.
Are motorized lifts noisy?
Modern motorized lifts use DC actuator motors that operate at under 30–40 dB — quieter than a normal conversation. The Tono CLC-40 camera lift, for example, runs at under 30 dB. There's no hydraulic hissing or chain rattle like older lift designs.
What's the difference between a pop-up and drop-down TV lift?
A pop-up TV lift rises vertically from a furniture cabinet (console, bed footboard, or floor-mounted unit). A drop-down TV lift descends from a ceiling pocket. Pop-up is more common in living rooms and bedrooms; drop-down works well in larger rooms with high ceilings or where wall space is at a premium.
Can I integrate the lift with my home automation system?
Yes. All our lifts support RF and IR remote control out of the box, and can be integrated with Crestron, Control4, KNX, Home Assistant, and most major home automation systems via dry-contact relay or RS-232. A single button-press can lower the projector, raise the screen, dim the lights, and close the blinds.
How long does the installation take?
Manufacturing the custom-spec'd lift takes 3–5 weeks. Installation itself takes 1–2 days on-site, depending on whether false-ceiling cutouts and cabling pre-work have been done. Total elapsed time from order confirmation to commissioning is typically 4–6 weeks.
Do you install motorized lifts outside Mumbai/Thane?
Yes. We've installed lifts in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata. For projects outside Maharashtra, our installer partner network handles on-site work and we project-manage remotely with a video site survey.
